On My Radar

What's on my radar these days you ask? Oh, just a few fun pieces for my closet and home!

How fun is this French print shirt from J Crew? As soon as a sale appears, it's mine! The outfit possibilities will be endless!

Kendra Scott you're killing me with all the new neon bling! This Teal Cassie bracelet is darling along with these  Alexandra earrings in Magenta!

Mom is treating me to a piece of jewelry for my belated birthday. I  have yet to make it to KS to pick it out, but these 2 are my top contenders for sure!

How fabulous are these striped placemats at IKEA? At $1.49 I can't help but drool over them! My kiddos can ruin them and I won't cry! Plus, we all know I'm a sucker for black and white stripes!

And last on my radar is this Marie armchair. We have a nook at the top of our stairs that is screaming for a chair! Love the vintage and neutral flair of this one! I can always add a pop of pattern or color with a fun throw pillow!

Are you loving any of these items? Will you be adding them to your must have list?

A House fit for a King...

or a Kardashian! If you watch KUWTK then you've seen parts of heir home, but it's always fun to see a full view of the rooms to take in all the details. And, there is certainly a lot to look at in their boho chic home including a lot of black and gold!  Here's a glimpse into Kourtney and Scott's abode.

Love their kitchen!! I'll take it all please!

The Jonathan Adler chandelier is spectacular! And how cute that Mason's framed artwork adds a personal touch in the corner!

This space is sophisticated and has a soothing feel. She says it's truly a family space!

Check out that art above the bed!

Such a cute little boy's room! How about that fabulous striped ceiling?

They used this IKEA rug and painted that large wall with magnetic and chalkboard paint!  Such a fun place to play, but it's not overly crowded with a million toys! Probably because all the toys are big and expensive!

Penelope's room is full of pink and pattern including the Ralph Lauren grasscloth wallpaper! It's a little too much pink for my liking, but I'd take that beaded chandelier in a heartbeat and the Madeline Weinrib rug!

What do you think of their home?

Going, Going, Gone

No, you are not dreaming! Yes, you read that correctly! This coveted Expedit series is being discontinued! Boo IKEA!! They announced the news yesterday and as you can imagine decorators, moms, and record collectors are all up in arms over this news! Apparently it's the perfect piece to store records! Who knew?!

I guess they are replacing these with a new rounded storage version that's more kid friendly! I will be the judge of that new style and see if I approve.

So, for now, run, don't walk to IKEA and stock up on Expedit pieces. I think I might grab a few of the  top one! It's perfect for closet storage!

My Little Loves

I wanted to share a few picture of my little loves on Valentine's Day last week! Grammy bought them coordinating outfits that were oh so adorable!

My little drool bug is 3 months old now!

Ava striking her hip pose!

She adores her little sissy!

Sweet little munchkin! She reminds me so much of Ava as a baby!

Golden Hugs and Kisses

Every girl needs a little sparkle in her life, right?! I created these letters last year for my mantle and loved them so much that I'm using them again this year!

I picked up a few paper mache' letters from my local craft store and my go to glitter spray paint from Krylon. First, I primed the letters white and let them dry in between coats. Then, I evenly coated the letters with the gold paint. I used the whole can! You want to apply liberally so the white doesn't show through. After they dried for about 30 minutes they went right up on the mantle!

You're left with beautiful, golden hugs and kisses in less than 20 minutes!

Tomorrow I'll show you the whole mantle so come back!!

Steal of the Week

This beauty is finally mine!! I waited and waited thinking it would go on a deep discount and sure enough it did! I scored this Maddox mirror for $55!! The only bummer for you if you're envious is that it's discontinued! Boo World Market!

However, if you love this 19th century style then you can grab the very similar Mansard mirror from Restoration Hardware. It will cost you a few hundred more though. And honestly, I prefer the finish of the WM version!

Now, I need to figure out where to hang this fabulous find!

New Wreath

A new month means a new wreath!

I purchased the wreath from the craft store for $5 and wrapped it with burlap ribbon that I had leftover from last Easter. I hot glued the beginning and the end piece.  The mdf letter I painted red, then attached to the wreath with heart ribbon that I looped through.

The whole project took about 30 minutes and cost less than $10.
I'd say this was another successful diy project!

A few more additions and the porch will be Valentines ready!
