A House fit for a King...

or a Kardashian! If you watch KUWTK then you've seen parts of heir home, but it's always fun to see a full view of the rooms to take in all the details. And, there is certainly a lot to look at in their boho chic home including a lot of black and gold!  Here's a glimpse into Kourtney and Scott's abode.

Love their kitchen!! I'll take it all please!

The Jonathan Adler chandelier is spectacular! And how cute that Mason's framed artwork adds a personal touch in the corner!

This space is sophisticated and has a soothing feel. She says it's truly a family space!

Check out that art above the bed!

Such a cute little boy's room! How about that fabulous striped ceiling?

They used this IKEA rug and painted that large wall with magnetic and chalkboard paint!  Such a fun place to play, but it's not overly crowded with a million toys! Probably because all the toys are big and expensive!

Penelope's room is full of pink and pattern including the Ralph Lauren grasscloth wallpaper! It's a little too much pink for my liking, but I'd take that beaded chandelier in a heartbeat and the Madeline Weinrib rug!

What do you think of their home?

My Holiday Home {The Entry}

Have you noticed that I'm a little late at posting my holiday home this year? No, that can't be because I have a newborn!

To be completely honest, I wasn't sure I would even attempt trying to decorate for Christmas, but who am I kidding? I absolutely love the holiday season and my 3 year old is so excited for the Christmas! She had such a blast helping me pull out all the decor and especially hang ornaments on the tree!

This year things are a bit simple and I used what was on hand instead of trying to totally recreate the wheel! There are a mix of metals and soft colors as well as some natural elements and lots of greenery!

What I love most is definitely displaying all the cards we receive! It's so exciting to get new cards in the mail and see all the smiling faces of our friends and family! Since my display is small, I'm working on a new way to show them off. The ice however has put a damper on my spray painting. Just 1 more coat of gold and I'll show you the new display!

Updated Home Tour {Master Bedroom}

Since a designers home is never finished, I'm always making changes and tweaking. I thought I had our master bedroom right where I wanted it, then my obsession with gray took over. I also wanted a softer, cozier feel. The bright yellows had worn out their welcome! (Check out the previous pictures of our space on the right sidebar or our home tour!)
 Take a look at its current state.

I would eventually like to repaint the room in a soft gray, but we have other rooms on the priority list for now! The hubs says he's tired of the blue walls. We just hung the gray drapes so that helps tone it down a bit.

What do you think of our space? Do you like the blue walls or would you repaint them gray? I'd love to hear what you think!

Portia and Ellen's Stunning Ranch

Did you know Ellen de Generes has a passion for decorating? I didn't know the hidden truth behind the hilarious comedian!
It's taken her a year to complete the 26 acre ranch that Portia calls her dream property!

I can't wait to have the magazine in my hand next week to look more closely at their gorgeous and sophisticated abode.

Finally, The Office Reveal

After months of our office being nearly complete I finally got around to shooting it and editing the photos for you to see. And to get an idea of what a transformation this was, just look below at the before shot which was taken right after we moved in. You'll see the space was definitely lacking personality.

Don't you love our travel pictures in the frames? Ok, so they're not ours. I did say nearly complete. Getting photos printed is on my list of things to complete the space.

And...

Bland and boring pretty much sums up this picture!! So grateful my husband finally agreed to change!

Finally, My Own Office

I am beyond thrilled that I finally have my own office. No more sharing the space as a guest bedroom like it was before. Last week I took it upon myself to disassemble the bed and move it on out. That made plenty of space for the whoopsie kitchen table that is now a perfect desk.
Our elliptical also moved into my office and out of the other guest bedroom, but it's not nearly the eye sore you would imagine. It kind of blends in with the dark drapes and I actually use it more now since I can watch TV.
After transforming my black frames with gold paint along with a few other accessories, I'm loving my personal space! (I think I need a few more frames for the back wall too.)

Coffee is a must! My print is from Made By Girl.

I love my chair prints that Danielle Oakey graciously made and shared.

Love print is also from Made by Girl!

I still haven't quite figured out this wall with the TV. The desk will be refinished for "A's" big girl room so I need to replace it with a new piece. The chair will also go back downstairs after we cut the kitchen table down.
For now, it's cozy and a space to escape to for some piece and quiet.
