Our Easter Recap

I know Easter has come and gone, but I'm just a little late getting all my pictures uploaded and organized. I wanted to share some special moments from our Easter sunday. Baby girl is 3 months shy of turning 3! She's looking so grown up now! 

I was elated that baby girl was in a good mood and agreed to take some photos. Usually her idea of taking photos is making a silly face then running off for me to catch her! 

She was terrified of the Easter Bunny so of course I was shocked when she ran up and hugged the air filled bunny! And, there's her infamous wiggle and silly face! 

We had a great morning of worship, family, and great food at brunch! It was a plus that the weather cooperated too and turned out warm and sunny! Usually it's rainy or chilly like last year! 

I hope you had a fabulous celebration with your friends or family as well!

How fun are these color block Easter eggs from the Land of Nod blog? And, they incorporated one of my favorite colors, mint! Pure genius!

Look at this lovely Easter tablescape from migonishome. That centerpiece is made from a pallet! So colorful and crafty!

I don't do much around my home for spring or Easter, but I sure could use this stenciled sign from The Happy Scraps! Love the twine detail!

Do you have a favorite spring flower? Tulips remind me of the presence of spring and Easter. I'll be grabbing a bunch while I'm out today to brighten my home! 

Looking forward to a weekend of friends, family, delicious food, and Easter service on Sunday morning. Do you have big plans as well?

Easter Recap

Our Easter was packed full of excitement! Once again, the Easter Bunny went overboard on "A's" basket. Go figure! 

The bunny cup was a big hit. You can see she's trying to drink from the empty cup. 

"Ah, crayons, momma!"

She enjoyed Gram and Da time.

We had an egg hunt indoors since it was raining. She loved the chocolate that was hidden in the eggs.

I hope you had a wonderful Easter, Passover, or weekend with your family. Ours couldn't have been better! Every year it's more and more fun as "A" gets bigger and more into the holidays. Seeing her smile warms my heart!

Easter Vignette

I threw together a little vignette for Easter. Since pastels are being seen everywhere I wanted to incorporate some into my own home. The glitter eggs are my favorite part!

Easter Egg Picnic

If you watched the news yesterday, then you are aware of the thunderstorms and tornados that were occurring all over north Texas. After we crawled out of the bath tub from our duck and cover mode, we had an Easter egg pajama picnic in the Dora tent. There was no playing outside so we improvised.  "A" and I both enjoyed our time together indoors and the sweet and salty snacks. She's been after the eggs for a while so I knew filling them with food would be a big hit with her.

It was a fun afternoon with my sweet girl!
