Nate Berkus for Target

First off, I love Nate Berkus. He's adorable to look at and has a great eye for design. But, I can honestly say that I'm not that impressed by his line that came out Sunday for Target.

I really thought the shelves would be covered in his line, but it was extremely limited. There was one small end cap of his products and multiple shelves of Christmas decor already. I even checked out another store thinking maybe mine was just lame, only to find the same results.

I was interested in purchasing his new book, so I was quite excited to see it on the shelf still. That is the only thing that came home with me.

I can't wait to sit down and browse through it with a cup of coffee!

What are your thoughts on Nate's collection? Did you find anything that you're overjoyed about?

  1. I've heard this a lot. A lot of people can't even find ANY of his collection in store and online it seems to be all sold out. I had some stuff at my store, but like you, just a few items squished in a corner. Not the welcome mat I thought they should have laid out for Nate.

  2. I thought is was another case of Missoni and everything was gone, but I don't think some of the things that were listed to be in the stores were even there. Like the hammered gold bowls. I didn't see signs for them. Anyhow, I took home the zig zag pillows, but unfortunately they'll be going back because they're too snaggable with all my little people around :(. Grabbed the bedding set - was going to create curtains and throw pillow covers w/it, but decided against it. So that's my little old story.

  3. I'm totally in the same boat! Our store had just an endcap in decor and one in bedding. I liked a few of the things, but then I decided that I couldn't really picture anything in our apartment. I guess my style is just not good enough.

  4. I agree. I was disappointed in the amount of items for purchase. His stuff seems to be more glam style, and I didn't see anything I loved or just had to have. The only thing I want is the book.
