Hello Monday and good bye weekend. It totally flew by because I was so busy, but I had a blast! I took some great photos of the shower we threw for my future sister-in-law and will share them with you on Wednesday, so be sure and check back.
Now, it's Suzy's turn.....
Today I'm going to share some of my favorite furniture makeovers with you. Everybody loves a good before and after, right?
I got this old buffet at a garage sale for $10. The top was a mess...bubbling and peeling off.
This old girl's makeover included gluing a new top on, a few coats of paint, and some pretty gold greek key detailing. Here's her big reveal:
Check out this old desk. Not too pretty...
Some blue paint and polished hardware and she's good as new:
One of my absolute favorite things to makeover are chairs. Fabric is an obsession of mine and I love searching for just the right fabric to give new life to an old chair.
I've had these chairs around my house and in the garage for over 15-years. They are antiques from the hotel in Aspen where my husband and I got married. Pardon the poor before shot...I took it before I started blogging.
Before:
And after:Does that desk look familiar? This is my daughter C's room:
Here's a little sneak peak of something I just completed this weekend. I will post a tutorial on my blog tomorrow if you want to know more. This ugly old dresser was lopsided and unloved.
So much better:Thanks again Megan! It's been a blast sharing some of my favorite things with your readers.
